MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Drew Robinson spoiled Salem's bid for a win for the second consecutive game, as his two-run triple in the seventh inning lifted the Pelicans to a 4-3 win on Sunday afternoon.
Robinson's RBI single lifted the Pelicans to a 9-8 walk-off win over the Red Sox on Saturday. His seventh inning triple on Sunday extended Salem's slide to five games.
Salem (15-19) went on the board first via a two-run home run from Keury De La Cruz in the first inning. Myrtle Beach (23-13) then tied the game with back-to-back RBI singles in the fourth inning.
Garin Cecchini put the Sox back out in front with a solo homer in the fifth inning, only for Robinson to triple in the tying and winning runs in the seventh.
Salem put two runners on with one out in the ninth, but a double-play groundout ended the game.
Cecchini hit his 12th double of the season and led the Sox with two hits and two runs scored.
Alec Asher picked up the win for the Pelicans, scattering six hits over seven innings.
