VISA Yacht Club holds recommisioning

Members of the Virginia Inland Sailing Association (VISA) Yacht Club celebrated the opening of the club's 44th year at the annual recommissioning held at its Smith Mountain Lake clubhouse on April 23.

Following the blessing of the fleet by the Rev. Marvin Gardner of Roanoke, Billy Rhodes of Lynchburg, master of ceremonies, declared the club open for the 2008 sailing season.
