After losing money every year since 2004, Ed Hill relocated his business Lugnutz Tire & Auto to a more traffic-dense location. The business originally was located at the corner of White House Road and Smith Mountain Lake Parkway.

"I wasn't getting any business in Huddleston," said Hill.

In August, he moved to a new shopping plaza on Virginia 122 in Moneta where Sweet's Heating & Air Conditioning also relocated.

"I'm 2,000 square feet smaller," said Hill, adding that the loss in size was a trade for the opportunity for business growth. "I figured I had a better shot here with more traffic."

Lugnutz offers tires and installation, auto service, auto and boat detailing, golf cart parts and service, and auto and truck accessories.
