The two candidates running to succeed Del. William Fralin in the House of Delegates will participate in a candidates forum on Tuesday.
Republican Bill Cleaveland, a Botetourt County lawyer, and Democrat Gwen Mason, a Roanoke city councilwoman, are scheduled to participate in the forum set for 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-Hotel Tanglewood. WSLS Channel 10 anchor Jay Warren will be the moderator. The debate is open to the public, but registration is requested. To register, call (877) 926-8300.
The forum is sponsored by AARP Virginia, the Alzheimer's Association, the Virginia Chapters of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Virginia Association of Centers for Independent Living and the Virginia Association of Area Agencies on Aging.
