Sen. Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee for vice president, will make a campaign appearance Sunday in Roanoke.
Biden will headline a community gathering to talk about presidential nominee Barack Obama's economic, energy and health care policies.
The 12:30 p.m. event will take place at Century Plaza, 13 Church Ave. S.E.
Gates will open at 11 a.m.
The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.
Tickets can be obtained from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Obama's Roanoke campaign office at 151 Campbell Ave. S.W.
