BILL: I find it hard to believe that with all millions of acres national forest, Shenandoah National Park and the countless acres of private woods in Virginia that the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries takes that position of there not being a mountain lion in Virginia. BILL: Call John Lutz of the Eastern Puma Network. I think I saw a cougar on the outskirts of Independence last week. It was trying to bring down a mammoth. I’d say it was snow insanity, but I don’t need snow for that.
