BILL: With the 20 new additions to the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries conservation police division (see last week’s Cochran Column), how many officers does that make?
C.H.
C.H.: The force now numbers 176 according to Capt. Bobby Mawyer, law enforcement training manager.
BILL
BILL: I know that for years my fishing licenses have expired on June 30, but I understand there is some kind of new system in place. Can you tell me what that is?
B.H.
B.H.: Fishing licenses now expire one year from the date of purchase, not just on June 30.
