BILL: I haven’t been able to find anything on the Chesapeake Bay striped bass fishing season. Can you give me the dates?
P.S.
P.S.: The spring striper season in the Virginia portion of the Chesapeake Bay runs May 16-June 15. The daily catch limit is two stripers. The minimum size is 18 inches and the maximum size is 28 inches; however, you may keep one fish larger than 32 inches.
Already underway is the trophy season in the Bay, which allows you to keep one fish 32 inches long or longer. Stripers appear to be scattered in the Bay at this time.
