BILL: As for Hunters for the Hungry, the organization is listed with the United Way , and federal workers can contribute through payroll deduction in the Combined Federal Campaign. I've been supporting them that way for a few years now.

BILL: Why is it you can’t hunt turkeys all day during the early part of the spring gobbler season, but you can during the later portion of the season? Will this ever be changed?
D.M.: I am not aware of any movement by Department of Game and Inland Fisheries officials to expand all-day spring gobbler hunting. It is not one of the subjects being discussed in the DGIF’s process underway to examine potential game law changes. Most likely the early portion of the season will continue to end at noon in an effort to protect hens.
