Running: The third annual Four on the Fourth race will be held in Roanoke, starting at 8 a.m. Entry fee for the 4-mile race, which benefits Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Virginia, is $30. Triathlon: TriAdventure will host a youth triathlon in Blacksburg. For kids 4-10, the event will feature various distances. For the youngest competitors, the race will feature a 25-yard swim, 1/2-mile bike and 1/4-mile run. For 9- and 10-year-olds, the distances are 100 yards for the swim, 1 1/2 miles for the bike and 1 mile for the run.
