Thanks to the wisdom of our legislators in Richmond, those individuals who purchase fuel-efficient vehicles will be assessed a fee for their efforts to improve the environment, minimize their use of fuel, cut personal expenses, etc.
Perhaps we need to offer our wise legislators suggestions of other ways they might punish environmentally conscientious consumers.
How about a fee for purchasing energy-efficient appliances?
And there could be a fee for those who use low-wattage fluorescent lighting.
And definitely there could be a fee assessed for installing new windows.
Wow, this could be a gold mine for the Virginia General Assembly.
