Sally Fishburn Crockett was the living embodiment of the Fishburn family's charitable legacy in the Roanoke Valley. Her death this month marks the end of a remarkable six decades of community service.

As was the Fishburn way, her own lifetime of giving was built on the work of previous generations, in particular that of her mother, Katherine Nelson Fishburn.
