Moneta man faces murder charge

A Moneta man was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in the death of Willard Swanson Brown, 75, of Axton, the Henry County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office arrested Dickie Lee Pulliam, 59, in the West Lake area of the county about 12:20 p.m.

He is being held at the Henry County Jail with no bond, the news release said.

Pulliam is also charged with using a firearm in commission of a felony.

The sheriff's office did not release information about Brown's death, including when, how and where he died.

No one with the sheriff's office could be reached Wednesday afternoon.
