A man was killed and a woman was injured in a single-car collision Saturday morning.

The accident occurred in the 2500 block of Loch Haven Drive in Roanoke County when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road and flipped over, said J.T. Greene of the Roanoke County Police Department.

Nicholas Edward Janney, 25, of Blue Ridge was pronounced dead at the scene, and Amber Michelle Keith, 19, of Buchanan was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Greene said that Janney and Keith were not wearing seat belts.

He said police were unsure who was driving the car.
