The incident happened Sunday night, according to a police news release.

Officers responded to the Orchard Lane area at 6:25 p.m. after a report of an armed robbery and home invasion. It was reported that three men entered the victim's home brandishing a weapon, took some items and fled, according to the release. The victim described two of the men as either black or Hispanic, and couldn't describe the third person.

Police have created a digital rendering of one of the men based on the victim's description. Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 961-1150, or leave an anonymous tip at 961-1819 or ciu@blacksburg.gov.
