Pickup driver sought in motorcycle crash

State police are searching for the driver of a pickup truck they say caused a man to crash his motorcycle Saturday afternoon in Glade Hill.

Trooper R.A. Howington said video surveillance from Glade Hill Minute Market shows Alan Fulcher, 53, driving his 2006 Harley-Davidson Road King on Virginia 40 when a dark-colored Chevrolet pickup truck pulled out in front of him.

Fulcher, 53, swerved to avoid hitting the pickup and crashed, Howington said.

Fulcher was flown to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he remained in fair condition Sunday.

Howington said the driver of the pickup was at fault and could be charged when found.
