Police seek suspect after Roanoke 7-Eleven robbed

The suspect, shown here in the 7-Eleven surveillance video, is described as a black male standing approximately 6'1" and wearing a white jacket with "sports patches" sewn onto it. The clerk on duty said he wore sunglasses and had masked the lower part of his face with a black plastic garbage bag.
Roanoke police are looking for a man who robbed a northeast convenience store early Wednesday morning.
Police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson said officers responded to a report of a robbery at a 7-Eleven in the 2900 block of Williamson Road, minutes before 3 a.m.
The clerk on duty told them he had been outside when he was approached by a man who he said wore sunglasses and had masked the lower part of his face with a black plastic garbage bag.
The clerk told police the suspect forced him back into the business and obtained money from him. No one was hurt, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man about 6 feet 1 inch tall and wearing a white jacket with "sports patches" sewn onto it. He also wore blue jeans and dark shoes with white soles, police said.
