According to police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson, a male entered the Dollar General in the 2900 block of Hershberger Road about 8:40 p.m. He showed a gun, demanded money and fled with some cash.

The suspect is described as a black male who stands about 5 feet 7 inches and weighs approximately 155 pounds. He wore jeans, black sneakers and a blue hooded sweat shirt with the hood pulled up, and his face was covered by a red bandanna.
