Pedestrian injured on Franklin Road
A Roanoke man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday on Franklin Road.
Kevin Damon Webb, 32, was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital after he was hit about 12:30 a.m. while walking on Franklin Road just northeast of the U.S. 220 interchange, Roanoke police said in a news release.
He was listed in serious condition Monday night, a hospital spokesman said.
The driver of the vehicle stopped after the accident, police said.
Police said the incident is under investigation.
