Roanoke police are investigating a shooting that left a 46-year-old man injured.

Officers were called about 1:30 a.m. Saturday to the 3700 block of Troutland Avenue Northwest, where they found the victim, police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson said.

He was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. His name is not being released because the suspect is a family member and the police department does not name victims of domestic violence.

Information about the man's condition was not available.

No one has been charged.
