A five-hour standoff with the Roanoke County SWAT team ended in the arrest of a man on obstruction of justice and domestic assault and battery charges early Sunday.

According to a news release from the county police department, officers responded to a call on Stonebridge Circle at 11:41 p.m. Saturday.

Terry Horsley refused to come out of his room and threatened the police officers, according to the release. When the officers determined he had weapons in the room, they contacted the SWAT team.

No one was injured in the standoff, police said.

Horsley is being held without bond.
