DALE CITY -- Prince William County police said an officer was assaulted and a Taser was stolen while officials made an arrest in Dale City.

Police said they arrived at Mapledale Plaza, where there was a large crowd and fight, about 1 a.m. Saturday. While trying to arrest two people, an officer was assaulted and a Taser was taken from an officer's holster.

Officials said the Taser is fully loaded and could pose a danger to others.

Ebony Miller, 28, of Woodbridge has been charged with assault and battery of a police officer and disorderly conduct. Monique Charlton, 31, of Dumfries faces disorderly conduct charges.

No other details have been released.
