Police say a Roanoke man was arrested after he reportedly stabbed another man in an outdoor fight in Southeast Roanoke late Friday night.

Roanoke police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson said that Christopher Levi Sutphin, 24, was charged with malicious wounding. Officers responded about 11:30 p.m. to the fight that occurred in the 900 block of Morehead Avenue.

Richie Graham, 21, of Roanoke, was stabbed and taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, police said.

Carilion spokesman Eric Earnhart said Saturday night that Graham had been discharged from the hospital.
