A Buchanan woman died Friday night from injuries she suffered after her car ran off U.S. 11 and struck a tree in Botetourt County.

Chelsea Lee Dove, 18, died at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital at 11:55 p.m., according to Virginia State Police.

State police said Dove was driving a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon north on U.S. 11 just north of Virginia 608 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, overturned and struck a tree about 10:30 p.m. Dove was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
