ROANOKE COUNTY

DITCH WORK

Crews will work on ditches that may cause lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Those locations include along Virginia 116 from the Roanoke city limits to the Franklin County line; Virginia 419 to the Floyd County line; and Virginia 311 between its intersections with Virginia 912 (Absalom Smith Road) and Virginia 689 (Keffer Road).

BRIDGE REPAIR

Work will take place to replace the deck of the bridge on Plantation Road over Interstate 81 at Exit 146. The left lane of southbound I-81 will be closed at the exit while work is performed on the bridge between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Thursday.

ROANOKE

BRIDGE WORK

Work is under way to replace the riding surface of the Brandon Avenue bridge over U.S. 220 between Franklin Road and Colonial Avenue. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction, and concrete barrier walls will be installed. The sidewalk of the bridge will also be closed to pedestrians.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

PAVING

Crews will pave westbound U.S. 460 between Virginia 621 and the Giles County line. Lane closures will be in place on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

BRIDGE INSPECTION

Crews will inspect the U.S. 460 bridges over Virginia 11/460 Business in Christiansburg today. The bridges are located just west of the I-81 interchange at U.S. 460. The inspection will cause various lane closures beneath the bridge on U.S. 11/460 Business between 7 a.m. and noon.
