Police are investigating a body that was discovered behind a Sonic in Radford.

Lt. R.A. Wilburn with the Radford Police Department said the unidentified body was discovered at 113 W. Main St. in Radford at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The body has been sent to the medical examiner's office in Roanoke to be examined and identified.

Radford police are working with other agencies to identify the body. Police do not suspect foul play, Wilburn said.
