Driver runs car into house
Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who they say struck a Southwest Roanoke house and fled on foot.
The crash occurred just before 9:30 p.m. in 3300 block of Pasley Avenue, according to spokeswoman Aisha Johnson.
She said a 2003 Lincoln Town Car was traveling south on Colonial Avenue when it ran off the road, went into a ditch, up an embankment and struck the garage of a house near the intersection of Pasley and Colonial avenues.
When officers arrived there was no driver on the scene.
Nobody inside the house was hurt, Johnson said, adding that police "have not determined whether anybody was injured because they have not found a driver."
No charges have been filed yet but the case remains under investigation.
