2 remaining Henry County homicide victims identified
Four suspects are charged in the killings, which investigators said might be drug- related.
The remaining two victims from this week's triple homicide in Henry County were identified Friday by investigators.
Filiberto Martin Loredo-Morales, 43, and Jose Martin Perez-Lopez, whose age is unknown, were among the three men found slain in the Ridgecrest Trailer Park in Collinsville early Monday, a news release from the sheriff's office said. Both Loredo-Morales and Perez-Lopez were Mexican natives living in Collinsville.
Earlier in the investigation, Gabriel Rene Rogel-Mirafuentes, 34, of Collinsville was identified among the dead.
The three men had only recently moved to the community and neighbors did not know them well. The release from the sheriff's office said investigators were eventually able to identify Loredo-Morales and Perez-Lopez through fingerprints.
Four suspects have been charged in connection with the deaths: Maurice Pritchett, 32; Jordon Stockton, 31; Carl Deshawn Turner, 17; and a 17-year-old boy whose name has not been released.
All four are from Martinsville, and all four have been charged with first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and robbery.
Henry County Commonwealth's Attorney Bob Bushnell has said neither of the adults charged in the case is thought to have done the shooting. He has declined to specify whether one of the 17-year-olds is accused of being the triggerman.
Investigators found a substance at the scene that they think was narcotics and have said the killings may have been connected to drug dealing.
The investigation is being conducted by the Henry County Sheriff's Office with help from Martinsville and Virginia State police, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
