Brownlee to announce his intentions today
Former U.S. Attorney John Brownlee will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. today "to formally announce his decision regarding his potential candidacy for attorney general for the Commonwealth of Virginia," according to a news release sent out Monday.
Although the announcement does not explicitly say what that decision might be, it carries a letterhead that states: "John Brownlee for Attorney General." The logo includes a photograph of Brownlee, with a rural backdrop and an American flag in the foreground, along with the words "Virginia's conservative prosecutor."
The news conference will be at the Roanoke County Administration Building on Bernard Drive.
