Roanoke police are investigating the shooting of an 18-year-old man.

Officers were called just before 10 p.m. Monday to the 1200 block of Fairfax Avenue Northwest, said police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson.

Joshua Jermaine Price of Roanoke had been shot at a residence in the 1100 block of Fairfax and walked to the 1200 block, where he asked someone to call for help, Johnson said.

Price was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. His condition was not available Tuesday.

No one has been charged in the shooting.
