Roanoke Co. police identify woman found along Bent Mountain Road
Roanoke County police have identified the Floyd County woman found injured on the side of the road Saturday after she somehow exited the vehicle in which she had been riding.
Nicole Holdren, 24, was taken to a hospital after a passerby saw her in a ditch in the 7200 block of Bent Mountain Road, said Lt. Chuck Mason of the Roanoke County Police Department.
He described Holdren's injuries as potentially life-threatening.
Police still are trying to determine how Holdren got out of the Jeep Liberty, Mason said. Investigators do not suspect foul play at this point, and no one has been charged, Mason said.
