Charges still pending following crash while fleeing police
Charges are still pending against two men who crashed while fleeing police Friday night, and the conditions of those injured during the wreck have not been released.
According to Roanoke police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson, an officer in the 1600 block of Moorman Avenue spotted a car with a faulty brake light and attempted to pull it over about 8:30 p.m.
The car fled, Johnson said, and in the 1600 block of Orange Avenue it collided with a Jeep Cherokee, then crashed into a residence.
Both men were taken to the hospital, as was the Jeep's driver, an adult female. The Jeep's passenger, a male adult, was not injured. None of their names or conditions has been released.
