Roanoke County's Democratic Committee has called a Monday caucus to select candidates for the board of supervisors seats for the Hollins, Vinton and Windsor Hills districts.
The caucus will be held at the Royal Room of the Ramada Inn, 1927 Franklin Road in Roanoke.
Potential candidates seeking the party's nomination must pay a $250 filing fee by 5 p.m. Monday.
The board will have at least two new members after the November election as Supervisors Richard Flora and Mike Altizer are retiring from the Hollins and Vinton districts seats, respectively.
In the Hollins District so far, Al Bedrosian, a Republican, is facing Gary Jarrell, an independent. In the Vinton District, Jason Peters, a Republican, is unopposed. In the Windsor Hills District, incumbent Ed Elswick, an independent, is facing Republican Joe McNamara.
The deadline to get on the November ballot is June 11.
