Radford to use stimulus money for water tank
The city of Radford plans to use $2.3 million in federal stimulus money to install a new water tank and make other water system improvements in the city.
The money would be used to improve service on the city's East End, from Forrest Avenue to Rock Road, and put water lines in undeveloped areas, said Mayor Tom Starnes.
The new water tank would be along Auburn Avenue.
