Residents can now log onto the department's Web site at www.dof.virginia.gov and order from more than 40 species of trees, according to a news release from the department.

Seedlings are available this year in bundles of 10 and 25. In years past, the smallest quantity available was 50.

The online store includes information to help residents pick the right tree for their land and details about prices and shipping costs.
