Where: Inn at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg

On the agenda: Executive Committee meeting, 11 a.m. to noon; general information session for all board members, 2 to 4 p.m.; and the Research Committee from 4:15 to 6 p.m. The information session at 2 p.m. will include discussions of the university strategic plan and severance and retirement options for faculty and staff.

On the agenda: Full board meeting to include votes on resolutions on the Tech Safety and Security Committee Structure, the 2010-2012 biennial budget update and a revision on the university's severance policy.

When: 7:30 p.m. Monday

Where: Municipal Building, 619 Second St.

On the agenda: A public hearing on using $2.3 million in federal stimulus funds to install a new water tank and make other improvements and discussion and action on ordinances to subsidize state budget cuts to constitutional offices.

Montgomery County

The board of supervisors' regular Monday meeting has been moved to Thursday. Some of the supervisors are out of town Monday.
