New eatery to open on Radford's Main Street
The Claret Cafe, a new eatery at 1150 E. Main St. in Radford, is expected to open this week.
The menu will be comfort food from around the world, including Southern favorites, said Stephanie Hussey, who co-owns the cafe with her husband, Chuck. The menu will also feature vegan and vegetarian foods, along with daily lunch and dinner specials.
The couple formerly managed the now-closed Radford location of the Vintage Cellar, so there will be a concentration on food and wine pairings and possibly wine tastings, Hussey said.
The site was formerly home to Pascal's Kitchen, which closed Dec. 16 citing financial difficulties.
