The Imaging Center at Montgomery Regional Hospital is now offering a new health screening to detect early stages of coronary artery disease.

The Heart Imaging 64-Slice CT Angiography provides three-dimensional images of the heart, allowing cardiologists to determine whether damaging fatty deposits have accumulated in the coronary arteries.

The first screenings were held Saturday.

Auction will benefit Warm Hearth

Proceeds from an estate auction in Dublin will benefit the Benevolence Endowment at Warm Hearth Village.

The Benevolence Endowment was established by village residents in 2005 to aid residents in need of charitable support. The endowment now stands at $434,000.

The auction, which will include items such as antique furniture, rugs and sterling silver from the estate of Elizabeth Michael, will take place at 4 p.m. Friday at the Valley Auction Center in Dublin.

Names and Changes

Anderson & Associates, a Blacksburg-headquartered design services firm has promoted MARY ANN BONADEO and TREVOR KIMZEY to fill vice president roles in its operation. BONADEO has been named vice president of operations, a role that will focus on improving the company's operations, standards and work systems, while KIMZEY has been named vice president of land development.

Three apprentice architects with Community Design Studio, the Architecture & Design division of Christiansburg's Community Housing Partners, have been certified as LEED accredited professionals. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professionals are professionals who have demonstrated an understanding of green building practices and principles and familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes. Among those certified are JAMES RUHLAND III, JOSH HOLLOWAY and KELLEY DAY.

SANDRA BALDWIN, an employee with Century 21 Jim Owens & Associates Inc., has received her real estate broker's license for the state of Virginia. Baldwin specalizes in marketing property sales in Century 21 Jim Owens & Associates listings.
