Pamplin College establishes partnership Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business has established an education partnership with L-3 Communications Titan Group of Reston. Under the partnership, the company's employees will receive a tuition discount for the college's executive Master of Business Administration program and Pamplin will be given "preferred provider" status for L-3 employees looking to pursue an executive MBA. According to a news release about the partnership, L-3 employees will receive a 7 percent tuition discount and a waiver of the application fee. L-3 provides information and communications products and services for national security. Names & Changes Newport resident SARA REYNOLDS has joined National Bank as a mortgage loan officer. In her new position, Reynolds will head the bank's mortgage loan department, located at 100 S. Main St. in downtown Blacksburg. Pulaski lawyer GARY HANCOCK is listed in the 2007-08 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Hancock, who is a managing partner of Gilmer, Sadler, Ingram, Sutherland and Hutton law firm in Pulaski, will be among the lawyers in the peer-review publication's personal injury litigation specialty.
