Virginia Tech's board of visitors will meet in Richmond on Wednesday to discuss executive compensation for Tech President Charles Steger and guidelines for the university to follow the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002.

The executive committee of the board will meet in closed session to discuss Stager's compensation and then meet in open session to discuss the PPEA, which allows private-public cooperation in designing and constructing public facilities.

Wednesday's meeting will be held at 11 a.m. in rooms 15-G and 15-H in the offices of Troutman Sanders LLP, 1001 Haxall Point, Richmond.
