Kristi Emmons

Kristi's music is a blend of melancholy folk melodies and raw feminist emotion. Her main influences are female folk and rock artists, such as Jewel and Ani DiFranco. A student at Virginia Tech, she grew up listening to Hanson, learning to sing a capella and harmonize. Kristi has been writing and recording music since she was 15. She has written more than 100 songs and has three self-produced CDs.
