A Virginia Tech student was injured when another student hit him with a car Monday afternoon, police said.
The 22-year-old man was walking in a crosswalk on West Campus Drive in front of Wallace Hall when he was hit about 1:35 p.m., said Tech police Chief Wendell Flinchum.
Flinchum declined to release the man's name, saying his family may not have been notified Monday afternoon.
The man was taken to Montgomery Regional Hospital with injuries that didn't appear to be life-threatening, he said.
Another student, 21-year-old Shannon Begle of Sterling, was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, Flinchum said.
