Several Montgomery County schools will be closed today because of flooding concerns.

According to Montgomery County Public Schools, the Shawsville strand will be closed today due to "high water." All other Montgomery County schools will operate on normal schedule.

The Shawsville strand includes Elliston-Lafayette Elementary, Shawsville Elementary, Shawsville Middle and Eastern Montgomery High schools.
