Christiansburg police have charged a 21-year-old man in connection with the death of his cousin this past weekend.

Keith Quesenberry of Christiansburg was charged Tuesday with voluntary manslaughter in the death of 23-year-old Michael Quesenberry of Pearisburg.

Police were called to the 1200 block of Moose Drive about 12:45 a.m. Saturday and found Michael Quesenberry of Pearisburg on the ground and unresponsive. Quesenberry was taken to Montgomery Regional Hospital, where he died at 2 a.m.

Police have said there was a fight between the cousins.

Keith Quesenberry initally was charged with public intoxication and assault and battery. He now being held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail.
