Eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. 460 in Christiansburg are blocked today because of a large sinkhole caused by a water main break, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Traffic is being detoured onto Wayside Drive. The detour is expected to continue until late this afternoon while crews make repairs.
