A Roanoke man was arrested Tuesday after reports that a male subject was exposing himself on South Main Street in Blacksburg, according to a police news release.

Alexander Earl Billow, 29, was charged with sexual battery, indecent exposure and obscene sexual display. Blacksburg police Lt. Nathan O’Dell said the incident occurred in the Blacksburg Square parking lot in the 1300 block of South Main Street.

Police arrived in the area about 10 a.m., but the man had left on foot.

Officers canvassed the area and arrested a male subject who matched a description provided by a victim.

Billow was being held Tuesday afternoon without bail at the Montgomery County Jail.
