The Pulaski Fire Marshal’s Office filed charges Monday against four juveniles in relation to the July 15 fire at the Frontier Village.

Fire Marshal Todd Garwood said the juveniles were charged with unlawfully and feloniously conspiring to maliciously burn a building. Because they are juveniles, no additional information will be released, Garwood said.

The fire at the vacant tourist attraction, which is located near the intersection of Randolph Avenue and Commerce Street, caused an estimated $25,000 in damage. It took fire crews about five hours to put out the blaze, which started about 5 p.m.

Two of those four juveniles were also charged in relation to a fire that occurred about 4 a.m. on July 9 that damaged a Southwest Times newspaper box at the YMCA in the 600 block of Oakhurst Avenue. Those two juveniles are charged with unlawfully and intentionally destroying private property, Garwood said.
