Radford Police have arrested two men in connection to a Tuesday night home invasion and robbery.

In a statement released this morning, Lt. Andy Wilburn said officers responded to a call to the Copper Beech Apartments in the 100 block of Copper Beech Drive at 8:38 p.m. When they got there, two people met them, claiming the two men came into their unit demanding jewelry, among other items, Wilburn said.

During the invasion, one of the two men, armed with a gun, pistol whipped one of the residents in the head.

Tonight, Wilburn said in a release that police have made two arrests in the incident. De’Lonnie Leon Leggett, 21, of Radford, was arrested this afternoon and charged with breaking and entering, robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a robbery. Johnie Winfield Hood, 20, of Belspring, was arrested this morning and charged with conspiring to break and enter and conspiring to commit grand larceny.

A third man, according to the release, is still at large. Wilburn said police have warrants on file for Justin Santea Little, 23, of Radford. He is considered armed and dangerous, wanted on charges of breaking and entering, robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a robbery.

Wilburn said he is a 6-foot, 2-inch black male who weighs 192 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Radford Police Department at 731-5040 or report Little’s whereabouts to their local authorities.
