On Friday, April 8, 2016, God whispered to Opril, "It is time to come home." Opril affectionately known as "Missie" was born on June 19, 1940, in Franklin County, Va. to the late Alvin Lee and Opal White. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Sheri Renay; brother, William White and two sisters, Josephine W. Bryant and Laura W. Johnson.Those left to rejoice in her memory are her daughters, Tiffany Jordan, of Chicago, Ill. and Tamsey (Dion) Kelsor, of Keystone, W.Va.; her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Amie W. Woodson, of Roanoke, Va. and Dorothy W. Washington, of Memphis, Tenn; four brothers, Alvin (Nellie) White Jr., of Roanoke, Va., George White, of Rocky Mount, Va., Ralph White, of Chicago, Ill. and Arvin White, of Roanoke, Va.; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev.
