Glenvar High School’s graduation ceremony will be moved to the Salem Civic Center because of wet weather expected Friday.

School system spokesman Chuck Lionberger said in an email the school’s commencement ceremony will now begin at 7:30 p.m. at the civic center. Graduation was previously scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. outside in the Highlander Stadium.

Students from all Roanoke County high schools are scheduled to graduate Friday. Graduations for the system’s other four high schools will also take place at the Salem Civic Center.

Here’s Friday’s complete schedule:

  • Hidden Valley High School at 9 a.m.
  • Cave Spring High School at 11:30 a.m.
  • William Byrd High School at 2:30 p.m.
  • Northside High School at 5 p.m.
